THE LEGACY CONTINUES
This page is dedicated to the memory and vision of my late husband,
Rev. Christopher A. Stewart, whose calling to teach the word of God was always rooted in truth, compassion, and courage.
Before his passing, he devoted himself to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and speaking boldly about racial injustice. He believed that true healing in our communities required both biblical understanding and racial awareness; and that neither should be separated from the other. His desire was not just to inform minds, but to align hearts with God’s Word.
This legacy has stayed with me.
While I am not a preacher or teacher, I continue to carry that same fire in my own way; through my artwork, my writing, and my reflections. My voice is different, but the mission is the same: to stand for truth, to speak with love, and to honor the journey we walked together.
He was the one who bought me my first paint and brush set; a Mother’s Day gift that opened the door for everything I’ve created since. This entire path began because he believed in me.
I dedicate this page not to retell his sermons, but to honor his vision. And to share the ways I continue to walk it out; faithfully, prayerfully, and creatively; in my own voice.
Thank you for visiting this page. This legacy still lives.
